Having Problems? Here are some answers and more instructions: How do I register to volunteer? Click on “Register to Volunteer” on the left of the page or register as a new user in the upper right hand side of the screen on this page. Once you are registered you SHOULD receive a confirmation e-mail at which point you should confirm your account. Now, you're ready to go back and select your volunteer shifts on the website! Help! I can’t log in! If you DO NOT receive a confirmation e-mail, e-mail Matt Dufon at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER, the e-mail may be living there! Matt can activate your account for you if you don’t receive the activation e-mail. Sometimes, the activation e-mail is bounced or spammed and the user never receives it. How do I sign-up for my shifts? You must LOG IN with your user name and password first. On the left you will see the navigation system, with the shifts listed that have slots open. Click on the time you can volunteer, which will take you to the next page with all of the volunteer positions available at that time. Now, choose what position you’d like to volunteer for by clicking on that position. If there slots are listed there are no slots left in that position. Once you select the slot you want, it will disappear from the selections so no one else can sign up for the same exact shift/position. This means it is really important to show up for your shift(s) or ask the Volunteer Director to change a shift if you need to because we will be depending on you to be there! Help! I can’t select the shift I want! First, make sure you are logged in; the system will not let you select any shifts if you are not logged in. Second, make sure you’re selecting a position that still has a available slots. You can tell because there should be slots listed on the right hand side of the screen after you select your position. Please note: PLEASE register once! If you have problems registering, please contact the Volunteer Director. The system will not allow two users to register with the same e-mail or the same user to register twice. What if I want to change my shift or can no longer volunteer? Please, please, please e-mail Matt Dufon, Seven Star Events Green Coordinator. You cannot change or delete the shifts you’ve selected by yourself-only the Volunteer Director can do this. Do you still need volunteers-should I tell my friends, classmates and family about volunteering? YES! We always need volunteers, especially because the Live Earth Concerts are so vital to the future of the world we are going to need your help spreading the word about this landmark event and volunteering opportunity!
